Bio
I studied at Solent University in England.
I have lived in England for 6 years, where I went to University and later stayed as a worker.
I have been teaching foreign students for a couple of years, both in England and in Portugal, but chose to adventure into teaching online during the first Corona Virus quarantine.
I have also taught in platforms such as Preply, Superprof and Learnify as well.
Methodology
The first thing my potential students always ask me is “Do I have to learn grammar?” with super frighten faces! XD
Unfortunately, its not possible to completely run away from this monster but that is no reason to be worried. Nowadays, there are hundreds of ways to learn without having to recite hundreds of verbs written on a board, like many of us had to during our school years.
I try to use materials that can relate to each students taste as much as possible so do not be afraid of suggesting movies, books or activities that you find interesting!
My lessons will be given according to each student’s needs, be it to improve employability skills or simply to be able to understand your favourite songs! I am available to teach from beginner to advanced(A1-C1). Oral expression will be worked on from the beginning but do not worry! I will take in consideration each student’s level.
If the student is already learning through certain textbooks or methodologies, then I will incorporate it in my lessons if necessary.
I am always available to answer any question!
For my lessons we will be using Zoom and Google Classroom, they are both free.
